Disney has announced some discounts are coming. Which is sure to be a relief for families who feel like they’ve been priced out of the happiest place on earth.
If you’re a saver like those of us at RetailMeNot, then reading “Disney” and “discount” in the same sentence is bound to catch your attention. The sad reality is that visiting a Disney park has become increasingly expensive for families. This new deal is designed to make the parks more attainable for families. K
Disneyland Resort Deal – Kids Tickets as Low as $50/Day
The deal is for discounted kids tickets – as low as $50 per child per day for children ages 3 to 9. Previously, tickets for the 3-to-9 set cost, at the cheapest, around $80 per day for a five-day visit and about $120 per day for three-day-visit.
The kids’ special ticket offer allows you to purchase one, two or three-day tickets to any Disneyland Resort theme park with Park Hopper tickets or Disney Genie+ service available as optional upgrades.
This particular deal is good for use at Disneyland parks in Anaheim, California, during any visit between Jan. 8, 2024, through March 10, 2024. As of now, there are no restrictions or blackout dates that apply to this deal. Of course, as with all visits to the theme parks, admission is determined by park availability.
Walt Disney World Deal – 50% Off Park Tickets, Dining Plans
Those planning a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, might have to wait a little longer for their deal, but it’s a good one. For park-goers who like their tickets, room and meals pre-paid before they arrive, Walt Disney World announced on the Disney Parks blog Wednesday that it will offer a new Kids Play & Dine package starting Nov. 14, 2023.
The limited packages will include 50% off theme park tickets and dining plans for kids ages 3 to 9 with the purchase of non-discounted four-night Walt Disney Travel Co. packages (pages where you’re staying at select Disney Resort hotels). The Walt Disney World deal is good most nights from March 3, 2024, through June 30, 2024.
Looking for other ways to save at Disney? There are always updated specials and deals available at Disney.com.
You can also save money by taking in your own stroller and by bringing reusable water bottles and snacks. The only limitations are no glass containers and no alcohol.
Plan Your Trip
Purchasing tickets to Disney is just part of the planning. Did you know you also need to make restaurant reservations? That’s right – and some restaurants fill up fast. You can make reservations six months in advance, so you should be ready to book when your six-month window opens if you want to dine at some of the most popular Disney restaurants.
We also recommend booking certain rides in advance and using Lighting Lane entry. This can be purchased and used through the Genie+ app or individually. You can find details about Lightning Lane entry and the Genie+ app here.
