Cracker Barrel might be in the business of all-day breakfast options and gift shopping for procrastinators, but this Valentine’s Day, they’re in the business of romance.
Celebrating allthings love, the I Said ‘Yes’ at Cracker Barrel Valentine’s Day Contest offers up its restaurants nationwide to prospective brides and grooms for popping the question of all questions: “Will you marry me?”
No, it’s not the Eiffel Tower in Paris. But if you’re picking the right person to spend the rest of your life with, it really won’t matter where you ask. They’ll be over-the-moon excited just the same.
Plus, when you propose (or have proposed previously) at a Cracker Barrel restaurant from Feb. 10 to Feb. 16 and record the moment, you and four other couples (ages 18 and older) have the chance to win free Cracker Barrel for a whole year.
Here’s what to do:
- First things first: Propose to your significant other, ensuring the moment is captured on video. Note: Video must show that the proposal happened at Cracker Barrel, regardless of when it happened.
- Upload your proposal video to Instagram and tag Cracker Barrel (@crackerbarrel). Note: Make sure the video isn’t set to private viewing only and can be seen by everyone.
- Include a statement with your post as to why you picked Cracker Barrel as the place to pop the question.
- Add these hashtags to your post: #ISaidYesAtCrackerBarrel and #Contest.
- The restaurant chooses five couples from those who popped the question at any nationwide Cracker Barrel location and will notify them around Feb. 28.
The contest to submit your video starts Feb. 10 through Feb. 16, but it doesn’t matter when you popped the question as long as it took place at a Cracker Barrel and you caught it on video.
