Streaming service giant Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) is venturing into the restaurant business, as it plans to launch a pop-up restaurant in Los Angeles on June 30 called Netflix Bites.
Netflix Bites will feature chefs who star in shows on the platform, including Dominique Crenn of “Iron Chef”, Curtis Stone, and Nadiya Hussain, among others. Mixologists from the show “Drink Masters” will also create custom cocktails for the menu.
Netflix Bites at Short Stories Hotel will open for a limited-time run at 115 S. Fairfax Avenue in West Hollywood, the company said in a statement.
“From episode to entrée, with Netflix Bites we are creating an in-person experience where fans can immerse themselves in their favorite food shows,” said Josh Simon, VP consumer products for Netflix.
